Birth details are used to calculate the chart. Unsubmitted content stays temporarily in this tab.

Child

Chinese name analysis applies only to complete Chinese-character names. Other names can still be used for the birth chart.

Sex used for chart rules
Choose a traditional two-hour period to fill its midpoint time

Search first, then select a city. Press the Down arrow in the search box to move to the city list.

Enter the local clock time recorded at birth. The calculation uses historical time zone and daylight saving records.

Parents' birth detailsOptional

Optional parent details add a traditional Five Elements perspective to the reading, not a determination of parenting roles. You can include one parent or both, or calculate the child's chart without either.

Mother

Enter the local clock time recorded at birth. The calculation uses historical time zone and daylight saving records.

The birth time remains unknown; no hour is invented. The day pillar uses the local civil date without solar-time correction and may differ near midnight.

Without parent details, the reading skips the parent–child section. The rest of the child's reading is unaffected.

How is a child's chart different from an adult's?

The calculation uses the same Four Pillars, Five Elements and Zi Wei rules. Readings for caregivers discuss personality, learning and family interactions through a traditional lens. Chart features are not evidence of a child's abilities, development or health.

Basic charts are free and require no account. Text readings are started separately. For their rules and available allowance, see Plans and usage rules。

Why add a parent's birth details?

Optional parent details produce each parent's Four Pillars and Day Master for a traditional Five Elements comparison in the reading. Generating or controlling relationships do not establish how well a family communicates or determine parenting roles.

Parent details are used for BaZi comparison, without separate Zi Wei or name analysis. Follow the form for birthplace and time. Leave an uncertain time blank: it remains unknown and is not replaced with noon. One parent's details are also welcome.

What if the child's birth time is uncertain?

Check the birth certificate first. If the time is still unknown, select the unknown-time option. Only the year, month and day pillars are calculated, without an hour pillar or Zi Wei chart. This limits interpretation and is not equivalent to a complete chart. Read what three pillars can and cannot show。

If you know the time but want to understand time correction and day boundaries, read true solar time、Zi-hour day boundaries。

How should I use a child's chart?

Charts and text readings are material for exploring a cultural tradition, not assessments of talent, learning ability or the future. Predictive validity has not been established for this service. Keep the child's real-life behavior, wishes and daily interactions central. See reading methods and limits。

This reading is a parenting reference, not a medical, psychological, or educational assessment. Consult a qualified professional about health or developmental concerns.
